Long Range School Facilities Plan

 

South

  • Construct a new middle school for grades 6 – 8 on the property adjacent to Loudon High School.  Build a school for 600 students with a core capacity of 900.  Est. cost $12,500,000

 

  • Expand Steekee Elementary to a PreK – 8 grade school for 500 students with a core capacity of 750.  Est. cost $2,500,000

 

  • Renovate/construct a new kitchen/dining area for Philadelphia Elementary.

Est. cost $1,150,000

 

  • Renovate existing Fort Loudoun Middle for grades 3 – 5.  Est. cost $ 750,000

 

  • Renovate/expand existing Loudon Elementary for grades PreK – 2.  Est. cost $1,500,000

 

  • Expand/renovate Loudon High to provide for a freshman academy and complete all SFMO code requirements.  Est. cost $4,750,000

 

East

  • Construct a new PreK – 12 school on the property adjacent to the existing campus.  Build a school for 900 students with a core capacity for 900.     Est. cost $26,000,000

 

North

  • Construct a new middle school for grades 6 – 8 on the property on Highway 321.  Build a school for 900 students with a core capacity of 1,200.     Est. cost $22,000,000

 

  • Renovate the existing North Middle for grades 3 – 5.  Est. cost $2,250,000

 

  • Renovate the existing Eaton Elementary for grades PreK – 2.  Est. cost $1,850,000

 

  • Renovate/expand Highland Park Elementary for grades PreK – 8.  Provide a school for 800 students with a core capacity of 1,000.  Est. cost $12,000,000

Plus land purchase.

 

  • Construct a new high school for grades 9 – 12 on the property on Highway 321. 

     Build a school for 800 students with a core capacity for 1,500.

Est. cost $32,000,000

 

  • Continue to seek property in the 6th district for a new PreK – 8 school.

Est. cost $16,000,000 plus land purchase.
