LDS Church Approved
| Back in July last year, The
Church Of Christ Of Latter Day Saints, purchased land on Creekwood Park
Boulevard near the Lenoir City Venue. The church paid $1,755,650.00 for
the near ten acre parcel of land. At last week's Lenoir City planning commission meeting, the board approved the construction plans for the church to be built. No timeline for the build was stated. Currently, a new Mormon Temple is being built on Kingston Pike just past Watt Road.
