Loudon woman killed after being struck by SUV in Monroe Co.

 

VONORE (WATE) - A Loudon woman was killed after being hit by an SUV in Monroe County Monday night.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol says it happened just before 9 p.m. on U.S. Highway 411 at the intersection of Tallent Lane.

THP says 21-year-old Whitney Whitehead, of Loudon, was crossing the road when she was hit by the SUV.

Troopers say charges are pending against the driver, 36-year-old Christopher Stalvey, of Vonore.
