The single greatest desire in my life, though I fall woefully short of this far too often, is pursuing the glory of my King, Jesus. Although Christianity, and this is as much the fault of Christians as those who oppose us, is much maligned today, do not let the world distort the truth that Jesus' life, death, and resurrection is anything short of the greatest act of love that we will ever know.

To Brittany:  What can I say that I haven’t told you a thousand times already?  You have shown me Jesus in ways that I never thought possible only a short time ago.  Thank you for taking the heart of this cynical man and breaking it open to see what life could be when I truly take Jesus at His word.  You mean the world to me, and I pray that I am always Him to you.  Thank you for your merciful spirit of forgiveness, for your constant words of encouragement, for your willingness to serve Him no matter the cost, and for your willingness to be led to Him.  You have impacted my life in a way that I never imagined.  I am so thankful that, 23 years ago, He was already thinking of you because He knew that, 23 years later when I let go and gave Him back the pen, He would bring you into my life at exactly the right time.  Wow.  That’s really all I can say.
