Vaping

If you're like I was, you've probably never heard of vaping. It's a relatively new alternative to smoking. Some call them e-cigarettes. The e is for electronic.

The e-cigarettes come in all shapes and sizes. They're powered by a small battery. Many are rechargeable, some are disposable.

E-cigarettes work by turning nicotine-infused liquid into vapor, which is then inhaled. A user is therefore said to be “vaping”, not smoking. More important, he or she is not inhaling all the noxious substances found in ordinary smokes.

I'll admit it, I'm a smoker and have been for a long time. You would think after having quadruple bypass surgery one might be smart enough to give up the habit. You would think. But seems the harder I try to quit, the harder it is to quit. It's a hard habit to break.

One of my nephews recently turned on the the e-cigarette thing. At first I thought it was just a gimmick with no practical purpose. I think I was wrong. He's been cigarette free for weeks now with no desire to go back to tobacco.

After seeing his success I thought I would give it a try, halfhearted probably. I'm happy to report, I'm a believer now. I'm almost all vapor now with just an occasional real smoke.

You could do like me and experiment with the store brands but I would suggest that you go the Mike's Electronic Cigarettes on Hwy. 321 if you want to get started right. He's got all the stuff you need. His store is at 516 Hwy. 321. He's right between Shubert's Motors and the Line-X shop. He's in the same shop as Smoky Mountain Beads, Crystals & More. You can visit his facebook page here.

E-cigs are not sold as a smoking sensation product but an alternative. There's no smell, no fire and the cost to vape is way, way less than smoking. Besides regular tobacco flavors, you can get every flavor under the sun. Chocolate, vanilla, Dr. Pepper, Red Bull and on and on.

Even if you have no desire to stop smoking or even cut back, you should give the e-cigs a try. you might me surprised how it works out.
