LOUDON COUNTY, Tenn. (WATE) – Overnight the TWRA responded to a boat fire on board a vessel on Tellico Lake.

Loudon County Dispatch confirming the call coming in around 3 a.m. Saturday, and the TWRA responded to the incident near Baker’s Hollow.

As of right now it is unclear if anyone was on the boat when the fire started.

Saturday morning at 1:59 a.m. Loudon County Marine Rescue along with other agencies responded to a 911 call involving 2 boats on fire on Tellico Lake.

Working alongside Loudon County Fire Rescue, Tellico Village Fire, and TWRA, the volunteer crew of Marine 1 was able to use its fire cannon to extinguish the fires.

No injuries were reported.
