Two small earthquakes rattle East Tenn.

 

Two small earthquakes rattled East Tennessee Friday.

The first one, which registered as a 2.0 magnitude quake, happened just after 10:15 a.m. about two miles from Athens, reported the U.S. Geological Survey.

The second one, which was a 2.1 magnitude quake, occurred shortly after 12:30 p.m. about two miles from Greenback.
