Hi all,

On August 24th, TVA is hosting a public meeting to get input regarding how to develop land that is being donated to the citizens of Loudon County for public use.  Your support and attendance that night will go a long way towards helping the agriculture community in our county.  The ag community has been in need of an Agriculture Expo center for many years.  Loudon County is one of only a handful of counties in Tennessee that does not have an such a facility.

This facility would be a multi-use facility that could be used for livestock events, rodeos, horseshows, farmers markets, craft fairs, and much more.  It would be a fantastic asset for the community.

At the forum, community members will have a chance to learn about the current proposals for the use of this property and “vote” for their favorite.  Your support for this proposal is needed to help us make this dream a reality.  We hope that you will drop by on the 24th and vote for this proposal.  Wear your 4-H t-shirt to help us show that we are there in force.  The more 4-H’ers and other supporters who vote, the better!

Details for the event are: August 24, Time, Drop-in between 4:30 and 7:30 to vote.

Location: The Venue of Lenoir City – 7690 Creekwood Park Blvd., Lenoir City (Turn off 321 at the Visitor’s Center and drive northeast about 1 mile.  The Venue is on the right and is next to the new LCUB building)
