| The massive apartment complex beside Food City on Hwy. 321 is now
pre leasing apartments. A 560 sq. ft. studio apartment goes for just
$1,279.00 per month. Studio means no bedroom. The rent prices just go up
from there.
Just imagine the conversation Lenoir City officials may have had. An out of state developer shows up a city hall and says, hey, we have a great idea for Lenoir City. We want to build 276 apartments right smack in the middle of the city central commercial district. We're not going to upgrade any roads or contribute in any way to offset the problems our apartments will cause. What do you think guys? City officials must have said, that's great guys, let's do it. What an idiotic decision. Now we're all stuck with it for ever. Does anyone really believe that there are that many locals looking to spend that much money for these apartments?
