Think About That

I read in the news that Walmart was going to remove all their guns and ammo prior to and after the presidential election in anticipation that there might be violence, riots and looting after the election. That probably makes since in those crazy, liberal, democrat cities and states. Never dreamed weapon hiding would also include the Lenoir City Walmart. Friday night, there wasn't a gun nor bullet to be found in our Walmart.

Later Friday night, I read on the news that Walmart had reversed their plan and would move guns and ammo back out on display. Sure enough, By noon Saturday, everything was back in it's place.

That's all weird enough, but just think about this. The nations largest retailer felt that the threat of  violence, riots and looting after the election was so great, they were going to hide all their guns and stuff. So where did they think the violence, riots and looting were going to come from? Where else, the liberal democrats.

The idea that we have one political party in this country that will go crazy if they don't get their way should tell you all you need to know about the current democrat party. And they just keep getting worse and worse.

Trump is going to win and win big and there will be parts of the country that will go mad.

You democrats proud of your party?

In Reversal, Walmart Puts Guns Back On Display

NPR-10/30/2020-Walmart is returning guns and ammunition back to its shelves after removing them from display as a safety precaution, citing this week's "isolated civil unrest."

The retailer had instructed its stores Wednesday to take firearms out of view to a secure location in the back, to be sold upon request. The move happened following unrest in Philadelphia after the police fatally shot a Black man on Monday.

Walmart earlier did not specify how long it would keep weapons off the sales floors, prompting widespread speculation the retailer was also heeding possible fallout from next week's election.

Now the company says the action was prompted by damage this week to some of its stores, and that it's ready to restore guns and ammunition to their displays.

"As the current incidents have remained geographically isolated, we have made the decision to begin returning these products to the sales floor today," Walmart said in a statement Friday.

The company sells firearms in about half of its 4,700 stores in the United States. It also temporarily took down firearm displays earlier this year when several Walmart stores were damaged during a nationwide wave of civil unrest after George Floyd, another Black man, was killed by police in Minneapolis.
