LOUDON COUNTY, Tenn. (WVLT) -- A young elementary school girl loves getting to school on time for a special reason, but one day she was late and missed her favorite part of the day. Thankfully, an SRO officer stepped in to save the day.

The Loudon County Sheriff's Office said Monday that Lily, an elementary school student at Highland Park was late to school and missed her favorite part of the day, the Pledge of Allegiance.
