There's a new wrinkle in the vacant 6th District school board seat. Apparently not only does the election commission need to approve adding the seat to the November election ballot but so does the Loudon County Commission.

The county commission will be meeting in a special called session this Thursday to declare the seat vacant. This means that anyone wanting to pick up a petition to run for the seat will have to wait till this Friday 8/20/10.
