Philadelphia, Tenn. - Several people were injured this afternoon in a train-van collision at the entrance to a Loudon County dairy farm.

The collision occurred near the entrance of Sweetwater Valley Farms, 17988 West Lee Highway, in the Philadelphia area, according to Loudon County E-911 dispatch. Authorities responded to the call at 1:23 p.m.

Celia Harrison, co-owner of Sweetwater Valley Farm, said the accident took place in the farm's driveway when a northbound Norfolk Southern train hit the van.

"There were no fatalities," she said. "Everybody was awake and talking and doing fine."

Harrison said she believed that six people were in the vehicle and it appeared they had been leaving the dairy farm when the crash happened. "I think they were leaving the farm .... but I don't know that for sure," she said.

Harrison said there are multiple railroad crossing signs at the intersection but no crossing arms.
