OVERNIGHT MULTI-AGENCY PURSUIT ENDS IN ARREST OF LOUDON COUNTY WOMAN.

LOUDON COUNTY, TENNESSEE - An overnight vehicle pursuit ended in the capture of a Loudon County woman who had multiple felony warrants out of Loudon County.

At approximately 10:50 pm, LCSO Deputy Christian Rogers observed a female, later identified as Crystal Shubert, driving a grey Nissan Maxima at a high rate of speed and failing to maintain her lane of travel on Martel Road in Loudon County. When Deputy Rogers attempted to stop Shubert, she fled in an attempt to evade arrest.
LCSO Deputies, with the assistance of Knox County Sheriff’s Office, pursued Shubert into the Northen most part of Loudon County and into Knox County for several miles. In an effort to prevent Shubert from posing any further damage to the community, Deputies attempted to block in the vehicle on Choto Road and in the process, Shubert struck an LCSO Patrol Unit, forcing it off the roadway. The pursuit was eventually terminated due to Shubert’s dangerous operation of her vehicle.
Approximately 10 minutes later Shubert was spotted again on Turkey Creek Road by Knox County Deputies. Shubert fled again from Deputies but was eventually taken into custody without injury, on I-40EB at Pellissippi Parkway after her vehicle was disabled.
Shubert is being held at the Knox County Detention Facility on multiple charges out of both Knox County and Loudon County.
No Deputies were injured during the pursuit.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol is investigating the crash between Shubert and the LCSO Patrol Unit.
