School Board Candidates

With the 6th district school board seat now officially declared vacant, Friday was the first day for anyone to pick up qualifying petitions to run for the seat. Some wasted no time in picking up petitions.

The election for the school board seat will be included on the November 2nd state election ballot. Anyone wishing to run for the seat has till September 8th, noon to file their qualifying petitions with the Loudon County Election Commission.
