Roadside Weeds

I'm sure most of you have noticed that the weeds along county roads has gotten pretty high. There's a reason. According to highway superintendent-elect, Billy Pickel, the highway department is currently down a tractor and a half. That means it'll take a little longer to get to all the right-of-ways.

The tractors are currently being repaired and like we've all come to expect, getting parts is taking longer than expected.

Pickel states, "They are covering as much ground as possible with the equipment they have and as soon as they're back to 100% equipped, they'll get caught up."
