Have They Quit?

Best I can tell, construction has completely quit on the 321/Hwy 11 intersection. No significant work has been done since the Thursday before Easter. That's nearly two months. Meantime, the motoring public is cursed with awful delays and TDOT doesn't seem to care.

Below if the contact information to TDOT. Everyone should call or better email to find out what in the world is going on. The only info I can get is that it will be completed by the August deadline. Just because the contractor got a 3 month extention for the project, doesn't mean they have to take it.

See if you all can get any response.

TDOT Record-A-Comment

The Tennessee Department of Transportation established Record-A-Comment to allow citizens to voice comments or concerns about TDOT construction projects. Motorists may dial 1-877-SmartWay to record comments or email TDOT.Comments@tn.gov to send written comments. Those who provide contact information (street address, email, or phone number) will receive a response within seven days.

The Record-A-Comment hotline and mailbox are monitored by TDOT Community Relations staff in Nashville. The services are checked several times daily. Suggestions and complaints are shared with the project managers overseeing construction sites.
