Probation officer arrested on DUI charge

LOUDON - A Loudon County probation officer was arrested for driving under the influence after allegedly driving his truck off a road.
Timothy Floyd Brewster, 51, of Loudon was charged with DUI after performing poorly on sobriety tests, according to a police report.

A Loudon police officer who arrived at the scene about 1 a.m. on May 23 said that he noticed a silver pickup truck had run off River Road into some bushes. The officer then saw Brewster staggering around beside the vehicle.
