Principal Resigns

School board members received notification Tuesday that Mr. Breedlove, principal of Greenback school had resigned. In an email from Director Vance stated:

This morning I received a letter from Mr. Breedlove stating that he would like to resign his principal position at Greenback School.  We have an opening at Fort Loudon Middle School in Math.  I believe that he will be an asset in that position as he has proven to be a great math teacher in years past.

The principal position has been posted to take applications.

The Loudon County School System is seeking applicants for the position of Greenback School principal for the 2011-2012 school year. Qualified candidates for the principal position should be familiar with newstate initiatives, data analysis, innovative teaching strategies, and be willing to work with a variety stakeholders including community leaders, teachers, administrators, and school board members to promote the vision for Greenback School. 

Minimum qualifications for the position include a master's degree, with at least five years successful teaching experience and hold a valid Tennessee certificate with appropriate administrative endorsement. Candidates should be proven in successfully implementing school improvement strategies that lead to positive student outcomes.
