Not For Sale
| I tried but it's not to be. At Thursday's school
board meeting I had asked that the sale of the now infamous 321 land the
board bought back in 2006 be put up for sale. I had asked that we put it
up for auction with a minimum price of 2.5 million dollars. If it sold
we would make $300,000.00 on the sale. All of the procedes would have
gone to the current building program.
But a majority of the board voted not to sale the land. Only myself, Lisa Russell and Craig Simon voted to sale. Scott Newman abstained. So for now we still own a 2.2 million dollar cow pasture with lots of hillsides. |
