No Signs?

According to Loudon County Administrator Of Elections, Susan Harrison, the city of Loudon will no longer allow political signs to be placed on any city owned property beginning with the August election.

Sign Ordinance Request-The City of Loudon has informed me that it will begin enforcing its sign ordinance with respect to political campaign signs.  The order of reference, 14-604, sections d and j.  Based on discussion with the Loudon City Manager, it is understood that candidates will be permitted to leave their signs on City rights-of-way until the  May 1, 2018 Primary Election is concluded.  Once the May 1, 2018 Election has been concluded, if not removed by May 4, 2018, the City will begin removing signs found to be in violation of the ordinance.  The ordinance will also be enforced during the August General Election, and at all times moving forward.  This ordinance does not affect signs placed on private property.
