A Loudon County mother is charged with felony
aggravated neglect, after deputies spotted her two young
daughters running near a busy highway.
Sheriff Tim Guider says his deputies spotted the half-naked little girls before 10 am on Monday morning. The girls, ages one and a half and three, were on Greenback Road, near Highway 321.
Guider says the mother, Sara McKelvey told investigators that she had fallen back asleep after getting her husband off to work.
McKelvey is being held in the Loudon County jail without bail.
