MOE Update
| When I reported last week about the
county commission budget committee's recommendation to reduce funding to
the school board, I didn't have good figures on just how much that
reduction would be. The best figures available at this time is, Loudon County schools will be reduced by about $296,000.00. Lenoir City schools would be reduced by about $162,000.00 So total dollars returned to the General Fund would be about $460k It's not likely either school system will give up the money without a fight. |
