Meth lab discovered in Lenoir City

LENOIR CITYŚLenoir City Police Department Chief Don White said police discovered an inactive methamphetamine lab Tuesday.

According to White, a maintenance man working in McGhee Square Apartment 8C called police about 6:30 p.m. when he discovered suspicious items he believed could be used to manufacture meth.

Officers responding to the scene at the 225 Kelly Lane apartment complex determined the location was an inactive meth lab.

White said officers found a meth cooker, but it wasn't in use.

No arrests have been made but charges will be filed shortly, White said.
