Man dies in single-car wreck

A Lenoir City man died Tuesday night in a single-car collision along Broadway Street in Lenoir City.
 
Jennifer Estes, Loudon County E-911 director, said the call came in at 8:48 p.m., and emergency personnel were on the scene within three minutes.
 
The main thoroughfare through Lenoir City was closed for two hours and was reopened by 10:30 p.m., White said.
 
Lenoir City police and fire departments responded to the incident, along with Priority Ambulance.
 
White said the wreck is still under investigation pending test results from the autopsy report. Richard DeLoach, 55, Lenoir City, was traveling west on Broadway in a Dodge truck when his vehicle veered off the road and struck a doctor’s office building, according to Lenoir City Police Chief Don White.
