According to Loudon Police Detective Scott Newman, Larry Myers, 44, of Loudon was found dead Wednesday morning in front of his Huffland Drive home in Loudon. Wednesday his wife, Kristene Myers, 35, was considered "a person of interest" in the case which Loudon Police are investigating as a homicide.

The body was discovered Wednesday morning in the front yard of the home which faces Highway 11 just blocks from Loudon High School. Newman said that Myers' death appeared to be a homicide and that he had suffered one gun shot wound during an alleged domestic dispute.

Kristene Myers was taken into custody before noon Wednesday after she was found at the Econolodge in Lenoir City. Earlier that morning police issued an alert for law enforcement to be on the lookout for for her. She was described as being blond, an inch under six feet tall, driving a Honda Ridgeline truck and believed to be in possession of a nine milimeter handgun. Newman said it appeared Kristene Myers "wasn't on the run, she just wanted somewhere to go" when she went to the motel that morning.

Kristene Myers has not been charged in the case but police anticipate she will be charged with first degree murder.
