A Loudon County man was arrested recently on
burglary and theft charges that stem from a January 2009
incident in Blount County.
Jerry A. Covington, 29, was arrested Saturday and charged with
theft and burglary of a building after he -- and two other men
-- allegedly stole a Ford pickup truck, utility trailer and
about $8,000 worth of tools from Greenback business, Showcase
Additions, 353 Southside Drive, according to a police report.
Covington was being held in lieu of bonds totaling $20,000
pending a Jan. 14 court date.
