News Herald Arrest Report

Loudon duo caught taking repossessed truck

A Loudon man and woman were arrested Saturday after attempting to take back the man’s repossessed car.

Loudon County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Cody Bengel responded to a business owner’s complaint of an unwanted person to find Glenn Holden Feezell, 21, and Amber Nicole Cox, 19. Cox was getting into her car and Bengel activated his patrol car lights. Cox didn’t stop and attempted to turn around in the parking lot. Bengel approached Cox while she was in the car, ordered her out and detained her, according to a report.

Feezell was sitting inside a red Dodge pickup truck. Bengel ordered him out of the vehicle multiple times, but Feezell refused. Bengel then detained Feezell.
The business owner said Feezell was on the property to collect personal belongings from the truck after it had previously been repossessed. Feezell instead attempted to take the truck. Law enforcement later discovered a relative and a friend of Feezell had been present earlier to help Feezell get the truck back, Bengel wrote in a report.
The friend recorded most of the confrontation between Feezell and the business owner on her phone. The business owner can be heard telling all four parties to leave the property, and the relative can be heard telling the business owner he would cut his throat, Bengel wrote in a report.
Feezell was charged with was charged with disorderly conduct and theft of property and released on $2,500 bond.
Cox was charged with theft of property and released on $1,500 bond
