KNOXVILLE — Authorities are investigating an
accidental shooting that was reported earlier this afternoon in
Loudon County, officials said.Details were sparse, but Emergency
911 dispatchers said the accidental shooting was reported at 2:45
p.m. at a location in the south end of the county.
Dispatchers could not give a more specific location, but said one
person was shot who did not sustain life-threatening injuries.
Loudon County Sheriff's Office detectives are investigating.
