Joint Meeting
| This Monday, 2/8/10, there will be a joint meeting of
the Loudon County commission and the school board. The purpose of the
meeting is to allow commissioners and the community the opportunity to
see in detail the proposed Phase I building plan being proposed by the
board. The architects and engineers will be on hand to present the
building plan.
At a recent commission meeting, several commissioners refused to support the building program stating they "didn't even know what the board was wanting to build." This meeting was called by board chairman, Scott Newman, entirely for commissioners to view the building plans and ask questions of the architects and engineers. This meeting is not to discuss funding or financing or which commissioners do or do not support the building program. This meeting is strictly for commissioners and the public to see the final plans of the building program. The meeting will be held in the Loudon High School auditorium at 6:30 pm. The public is invited and encouraged to attend this informational meeting. |
