I would like to take this opportunity to announce that I will not be seeking re-election to the 1^st District County Commission seat A. 

When I asked people to give me a chance to do this job I told them that I had some very specific goals for my tenure on County Commission. I also told them that I very much believed in term limits and that it was my opinion that the County Commission would benefit from a continual infusion of new ideas.
 

As part of a very diverse County Commission team I have had the privilege of seeing a New Fort Loudon Middle School come to fruition. For the rest of my years this will bring me a since of pride and accomplishment.

In the not too distant future I will most likely get involved in a run for a County level office that will more closely match my particular skill set.
 

I hope that through my service on the County Commission I have been able to display several traits to the people of Loudon County. I hope that they have learned that I am someone they can trust, that I am the type of person that says what I mean and means what I say.
 

Although I understanding that no one can make everybody happy, I would like to say simply, Thank You, with the hope that I have not disappointed too many.
 

For at least the next four years it is time for me to focus on being a better Father, Husband and Policeman.
