“In God we trust” is prominently displayed in all of our Loudon County Schools per TN Public Chapter 640. The United States Congress adopted “In God We Trust” as the national motto in 1956. Now in 2018, over 50 years later the words are displayed with pride in schools across the great state of TN.

As Loudon County Schools moves forward with initiatives to choose kindness, now is an excellent time to display our national motto with appreciation to those that founded our great country on these words and values.

You will notice the signs displayed in the entryways of all of our schools. A special thanks to Greg Davis, owner of Pixels2Design, for the donation of the signs for our nine schools. His business e-mail greg@pixels2design.com is a great way to contact him for products of your own.

We have had a great start to our school year. We are proud to celebrate the highest achievement scores possible and now able to proudly display “In God We Trust” in all of our schools. Be sure to see these at your local school. As always, if you have any questions please feel free to reach out to me at 458-5411 or at vancej@loudoncounty.org.

We hope everyone has a safe and blessed Labor Day Weekend,
Dr. Jason Vance
Director of Schools
