Annual Ice Cream Contest

The Greenback Historical Society will host its Annual Ice Cream on July 26, 2014, in the pavilion behind the Greenback Community Center.  Setup will begin at 1:00PMwith tasting and voting starting at 2:00PM.  Prizes this year include First Place ($100), 2nd Place ($50) and 3rd ($25).  Entrants vying for the prizes must complete and submit a CONTEST AGREEMENT before 4:00PM, July 16, 2014.  For information, contact Bob Anderson at 865-856-3202 or 865-335-3367.  More details are available on the Contest Flyer and the CONTEST AGREEMENT which can be downloaded at the links below.

What If You Can’t Make Ice Cream: Fine! You Can Be a Taster and Vote For Your Favorite Confection.

What’s The Catch: To Make The Society And It’s Activities More Widely Known Both Inside and Outside The Greenback Area

• Set up for the contest will begin at 1:00PM.

• Tasting and voting begins at 2:00PM and runs until about 3:30PM

• A short members meeting will take place while the votes are counted

• The winning Ice Cream entry will be announced at 4:00 PM

• We will supply tasting spoons, cups and napkins

The Fine Print

All entrants participating for the prize must complete a Contest Agreement Form and submit it by 4:00PM, July 16, 2014. These entry forms may be obtained at the following locations: The Greenback Heritage Museum, The Greenback Public Library, the directors of the Greenback Historical Society, or from the Society website shown below.
