I have A Heart
| I know there are some who would say I have no heart.
Well, I can prove them wrong. Back on August 17, I had to have yet
another stent implant. This time in the left, descending something or
another. The blockage was 90%. This is actually my fourth stent.
Apparently, I inherited my mother's side of the family's heart problems.
Quadruple bypass in 2009, three stents in 2016 and now another one.
Not only do I have a heart, you might say I have a heart of gold. This last procedure was about 32k. the stents themselves cost about 4k each and the bypass surgery was about 200k. As you can see, we've invested a lot to keep this old ticker going. Hopefully, I'll be good for another six or seven years or another hundred thousand miles. |
