Just a month ago, TDOT announced that the project had been extended for completion to the summer of 2020. That's when you kicked it in gear. The real linchpin was the Facebook page 321 Action. This page provided everyone the information they needed to contact all the officials about their displeasure with the pace of the project.

If you've been through the intersection lately, there's no doubt, someone lit a fire under the contractor. There's been more work done in the last two or three weeks that there has been in the last six months. Your voices were heard loud and clear.

But let's not let up now. Obviously, the project will still be way behind schedule but maybe not as far behind as we were first told.
