Good Idea

A friend of mine who is a healthcare worker and a mother of two in the local school system proposed a good idea.

Apparently, parents are asked to supply hand sanitizer and wipes for the class rooms. Given that it is unlikely kids will be going back to school this school year, would it be possible for the surplus of supplies to gathered up and donated to local agencies that are in desperate need of these things? At least till the shortages have passed?

Places like hospitals, nursing homes, law enforcement, first responders, etc. could really use those supplies if they're just sitting in dark class rooms. By the time kids go back to school, the shortages will be over and parents can replace those supplies.

Sounds like a pretty good idea to me.
