From Loudon County Sheriff's Office:

LCSO DEPUTIES CATCH ILLEGAL DUMPING THANKS TO HELP FROM ALERT CITIZENS

LENOIR CITY, TENNESSEE - Illegal dumping onto right-of-ways and private property is a serious crime and destroys our community’s landscape. And today, thanks to the help of an alert citizen, several of our deputies were able to apprehend two men who admitted to the dumping of what was likely over a thousand pounds of furniture and other household waste.

These two men were not only cited for their suspected roles in this illegal activity, but were asked to collect their trash and load it back into the truck that it was dumped from.

Thank you to the vigilant citizen who aided us in locating the suspects!

While our Community and Nation come to a slow down during the COVID-19 Epidemic, our Deputies remain hard at work to ensure that our quality of life is unharmed.

If you suspect illegal dumping, never hesitate to call the Loudon County E-911 Center at (865) 458-9081 to report it.
