Flag flown in Iraq presented to Loudon Elementary School

Major Tim Shubert of the 278th Armored Calvary Regiment presented a flag that had been flown in Iraq during his last deployment to Loudon Elementary School. The students at the school had written him during both of his deployments to Iraq. Shubert is a resident of Loudon and his mother-in-law, Barbara Bolt, of Philadelphia, facilitated the letter writing to soldiers while teaching at the school. Letters were mailed not only to Shubert, but to other members of the 278th serving in Iraq.
