LCPD makes drug arrests

Fifteen people were arrested Wednesday after 17 indictments for drugs were carried out, said Lenoir City Police Chief Don White.


The majority of the chargers were for methamphetamine, two were for pills and one for cocaine, he said. Around 10 of the indictments were served in Lenoir City and others in other parts of Loudon and Monroe counties. 


Officer Jason Butler had been investigating the cases for around seven months and took his findings to the grand jury who issued the indictments Wednesday morning. 


The round up began around 11 a.m. and those indicted were still being processed Wednesday afternoon. 


Those arrested were:

• Richard Queen, 39, of 656 Tinnell Lane, Lenoir City, charged with promoting manufacture methamphetamine;

• Grady Ingram, 45, of 509 West 2nd Ave., Lenoir City, charged with promoting manufacture methamphetamine;

• David Langley, 42, of 600 Pine Ridge Road, Lenoir City, charged with promoting manufacture methamphetamine;

• Amanda Spencer, 19, of, 504 Willimington Manor, Loudon, charged with promoting manufacture methamphetamine;

• Raymond Nyberg, 35, of 401 Wilson Circle, Tellico Plains, charged with promoting manufacture methamphetamine;

• Michelle Nyberg, 30, of 510 Sawmill Road, Tellico Plains, charged with promoting manufacture methamphetamine and simple possession of methamphetamine;

• Jonathan McGee, 23, of 211 Norcross Dr. #31A, Knoxville, charged with promoting manufacture methamphetamine;

• Randall Tallent, 26, of, 225 Ballplay Rd. Apt. E-19, Madisonville, charged with promoting manufacture methamphetamine;

• Daniel Vasquez, 42, of 403 North A St., Lenoir City, charged with promoting manufacture methamphetamine and sell/deliver of schedule II oxycodone;

• Timothy McCall, 34, of 290 South Wingate Road, Lenoir City, charged with promoting manufacture methamphetamine;

• Lacy Massie, 23, of 225 Kelly Lane Apt. 7E McGhee S, Lenoir City, charged with promoting manufacture methamphetamine;

• Vicki Skidmore, 49, of, 308 W. 5th Ave., Lenoir City, charged with promoting manufacture methamphetamine;

• William Young, 44, of 106 Third Ave, Lenoir City, charged with promoting manufacture methamphetamine and three counts sell/deliver of schedule;

• Ronald Lawrence, 48, of 5712 Calloway Road, Loudon, charged with promoting manufacture methamphetamine; and

• Cheryl Spangler, 52, of, 11135 Hwy. 11 E, Lenoir City, charged with promoting manufacture methamphetamine;
