MADISONVILLE-A Lenoir City man received a combined 19-year sentence after pleading guilty to burglary and vandalism charges Friday in Monroe County Criminal Court.

Robert DeWayne Brown, 23, Abbot Road, Lenoir City, received the sentence after pleading guilty in connection several car burglaries where he broke windows to get into the cars.

The burglaries all happened on Dec. 12 of last year when Brown broke into six different motor homes that were parked at Stor Mor on Presley Road outside of Vonore.

The items taken included TVs and radios and were valued at $7,7000, authorities said.

Brown pleaded guilty to five counts of auto burglary, six counts of vandalism and one count of theft of property $1,000-$10,000.

Brown will serve his sentences concurrently at 30 percent and receive credit for the nearly seven months he has already served.
