Crews clean up overturned milk truck on I-75S in Loudon Co.

LENOIR CITY (WATE) - Crews are working to clean up an overturned milk truck on Interstate 75 Southbound in Loudon County.

According to the Tennessee Department of Transportation, it happened just before 3 a.m. on Friday near mile marker 79.  A wrecker service told 6 News the trailer of the truck has flipped, but the cab is upright.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol is currently working to clear the wreck.

The right lanes of I-75S will be open until 10 or 11 a.m. The left lane will remain closed. During this time officials will take all the product off the truck.

Once they're finished, authorities will close the entire highway down and get the trailer out.

If traffic backs up, drivers can take exit 81 to 321 and then take Highway 11 to State Route 324. This will put you back on I-75S at mile marker 76.

Northbound traffic is not affected by the wreck.

No injuries have been reported.
