Courts Closed

From Steve Harrelson, Circuit Court Clerk:

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Tennessee Supreme Court has declared a state of emergency for the Judicial Branch of Tennessee.

The Supreme Court issued an Order Friday (March 13, 2020) suspending in-person court proceedings from close of business on March 13, 2020 through Tuesday, March 31, 2020.

During that period, the only cases that will be heard are emergency orders and incarcerated defendant criminal cases in General Sessions Court. All non-emergency proceedings will be reset by the Circuit and Sessions Court Clerks.
