Loudon commissioners stand behind relocation decision

LOUDON — Despite threats of legal action, most Loudon County commissioners are standing squarely behind its decision to move the school administration offices out of the County Office Building. “It’s definitely the right thing to do,” said Commissioner Don Miller.
 
In January, commissioners voted 9-1 to transfer $800,000 from the school department’s fund to renovate the Technical Center on Harrison Road in Lenoir City. The plan was to prepare the building to become a new home for the schools administrative offices.
