| After weeks of work, the Loudon County commission
budget committee has completed preparations for the 2022-2023. The
proposed budget includes cost of living raises for most employees, based
on employment longevity. Fully funding the Loudon County schools budget
requested increase of over $800,000.00, three new deputies for the
sheriff's department and much more. All this and the property tax rate
stays the same. The budget committee will present the budget proposal to the full commission Wednesday, June 1st, 6:00 at the annex. Immediately following the presentation, the commission will enter into a special called meeting to discuss the landfill contract extension and take any actions deemed necessary. |
