| Not much change since last week on the August school
board election. Two candidates have filed their petitions and qualified
to run and one candidate has picked up a petition to run for the third
district seat.
Michael Phillips is the only candidate thus far to
pick up a petition for the 3rd. Freddie Gene Walker has qualified and
contrary to rumors that have been circulating, I am running for
re-election and have filed and qualified to run.
Candidates have till April 5th to qualify.
