Blount County man arrested for robbery after low speed pursuit

ALCOA (WATE) – Blount County deputies along with officers from other departments arrested a man for armed robbery Sunday night after a low speed pursuit that ended in Loudon County.

David Anthony Yost, 23, was wanted by the Alcoa Police Department for aggravated robbery in connection with a robbery with a handgun on Payne Avenue on November 29. He was also wanted in Knox County for violating parole.

Agents with the U.S. Marshals Service Smoky Mountain Fugitive Task Force and the Alcoa Police Department had been following up on leads on Yost’s whereabouts since the robbery. Eventually physical evidence led officers to spot in him Blount County and Blount County deputies, marshals, Lenoir City officers and Loudon County deputies took him into custody after a low speed pursuit on Highway 11.

He is being held on $10,000 bond.

Chassady Tiona Fuller, 24, was in the car with Yost and was charged with a misdemeanor violation of probation. She is being held without bond.
