Times have changed, but the Greenback community and its children remain timeless.

That’s the message that 100-year-old J. Esther Montgomery, who is believed to be Greenback High School’s oldest living graduate, imparted to a trio of eighth-graders on Tuesday morning. Montgomery was one of many dignitaries and honored guests who turned out for the first day of classes at the community’s new pre-K-12 school.
