Best To Resign

6th District School Board member, Ric Best, has notified county commission that he will resign his seat on the board at the end of November. In his letter (see below) to the commission, Best sited an incurable disease as the reason for his resignation.

County commission will address Mr. Best's resignation and a possible appointment to fill out his term at tonight's commission workshop. Best's term would have ended in August 2018. Any appointment would only be till that August 2018 date. That 6th district seat will be on the ballot in the August election.
