64-year-old charged with rape of child

Loudon County Sheriff’s Office investigators said more charges could come for a 64-year-old man accused of raping a 5-year-old girl earlier this month, and investigators fear other girls could be involved.

Jack Curtis Holt of Lenoir City was found in possession of several pictures of young girls posed in sexual positions after a 5-year-old said Holt had touched her sexually.

Inv. Sgt. Jeff Russell wrote in his report that the girl stated that Holt “would tell her not to say anything because it was a secret” and the incidents occurred on several occasions.

“Mr. Jack Holt did give written consent for a search of his property and of any electronic devices and their content. With this consent several pictures were found of other young girls and (the 5-year-old),” Russell said, adding that two pictures taken April 17 contained pictures of the girl sitting at Holt’s house in dress-type clothing “and her legs spread while he took the picture.”

Holt was charged with rape of a child and held on $100,000 bond.
