30 Day Out

In the previous story on the Agricultural Contract held by Loudon City councilman, Johnny James, James claims he has lost certain revenues by not planting crops on the Center 75 Industrial Park property in Loudon. Mr. James' claim may be on shaky ground. Under the current contract, Mr. James was not even permitted to plant crops but was only permitted to graze livestock and cut hay.

In addition, the contract also has a 30 day out clause.

The directors of the EDA, who manages the Center 75 property, want to get a legal opinion on the contract. But the plain reading of the contract appears to refute James' argument.
